6 Months!!

Kaden officially turned 6 months old yesterday! I can't believe he is that old already! It seems like just yesterday that he was born.

And now, he is doing so much! He has learned to smile, laugh, coo and babble, hold his head up, roll over both ways, practically sit up all on his own, actually enjoy being on his stomach, kick his swaddling habit, sleep on his stomach and now he is beginning to pull his knees up under himself while on his belly!! He has 4 teeth and is working on 4 more, he has started eating more than milk, and will soon be eating finger foods!

We had his 6 month check up today. He is such a little guy. He only weighed 13lbs. 2 oz!! That's not even on the percentile chart! The doctor was a little concerned and said we need to try to get him to eat more. I always thought he was a good eater, but we will just have to try and add a feeding somewhere. His length was 25 7/8" (30th%) and his head measured 16 1/2" (10th%). Other than his weight, he is doing great! He is on target for all the milestones.

Our lives have changed so much in just 6 months. It doesn't seem that long ago that we weren't sure if we would ever be able to have a baby, and now he is here. We are so grateful that God chose to bless us with such a gift. Everyday I wake up and am thankful for Kaden. Kevin and I are so happy that we finally have the family that we wanted for so long.
