30 Weeks

I know I have been really bad at updating. I really need to get better at that!

Things have been going really well lately. I have officially entered my third trimester!! I can't believe that it will only be 10 more weeks until we get to meet our little guy. I am getting really excited about getting to hold him and cuddle with him. I can't wait to see what he looks like and what kind of baby he will be.

I had my glucose test with the doctor right before Christmas, and I passed with flying colors! I don't know why, but I was really worried that I wasn't going to pass the test. The doctor did say that I am a little bit anemic, though. I think that's pretty common in the third trimester. Other than that, things are great. I feel really good, and can pretty much do just about the same amount as I could before I was pregnant.

The "nesting" instinct is definitely starting to kick in! I have been doing lots of things that I didn't feel like doing in the first and beginning of the second trimesters. I rearranged the furniture we already have in our guest room to make room for the baby's things (crib and dresser), and cleaned and organized everything in there about a week ago. Luckily for me, the furniture was not too heavy, and I was able to just push most of it with my foot! I can't wait until we actually get the baby's furniture set up in that room. I know we still have 10 weeks, but I am definitely getting to the point where I feel like we need to have everything ready right now!

Kaden moves around all the time now! I am constantly feeling a little kick or push or just a little bump. In fact, he's moving as I am typing this! Maybe he senses that I am writing about him! I have to say that I think that's my favorite part of being pregnant. It's the coolest thing to experience your child moving around inside of you. I am definitely ready to meet him, but I am really enjoying this experience, and I know I will probably be a little sad when it's over.

Kevin and I start our childbirth class tomorrow night. I can't believe it's time for that already! I am definitely excited about it. It's reassuring to know that we will be able to learn alot and ask lots of questions about what to expect.

I think that's about all the news I have for now. So, I will leave you with a few pictures.
