Well, I know I have been horrible at updating lately. I do have the best of intentions, but then I don't get around to posting like I want to. I am, indeed, still pregnant, but hopefully our little guy will make his appearance soon! I am only 2 days away from my due date, but so far not much is happening, so who knows. I went to the doctor on Friday and she said that I am about 1-1 1/2 cm dialated and have a very soft cervix, but I was hoping for a little more progress. We also talked about how long they will let me go past my due date. It sounds like they will want to induce me about a week after my due date if he doesn't come on his own before then. I hope he comes on his own because I really don't want to be induced.
I finished my last day of work on Friday! I won't be going back until Kaden's about 6 weeks old, and he'll be coming to work with me (since I am a nanny), so I will still get to be with him. I am happy that I can just focus on getting any last minute things ready for the baby and getting lots of rest!
I can't believe we will get to meet our baby so soon. It will only be a week and a half at the most until we get to see him! I can't wait to see how big he is and what he looks like. I am so excited to hold him! Although, Kevin told me that I will not be allowed to hold him since I have been holding him for the last nine months! He is soooo excited. We've been waiting a loooooooong time for this little boy and I can't believe it's almost time to meet him!
